A Reminder:) |
We had a good chat with my very good friend litratista last night. I really like people talking about things in life...I'm kinda serious sometimes. It's good to raise questions and defend our opinions. Inspite of our differences we didn't argue and we respect our own opinions; we still love each other. It's good sometimes that we have different views so that we could discuss about it.
She reminded me of the wayI talked and to watch out my tones. I really appreciate it when friends will tell me that I'm not doing right, it's an encouragement. I have this habit when I talk/preach with pointing fingers. I'm not really concious about pointing my fingers, anyways, I must take note of this. She's not the first one who told me that. I'm always misunderstood in the way I talk. People might get hurt but I didn't mean it. My friends told me that I'm high blood but they knew me more than that. They know that I'm pointing something. I knew that I'm impatient sometimes and get a little irritated if people didn't get what I meant. But for my close friends, I'm really high blood but I'm just concerned and I love them. Well, sometimes they misunderstood me...I'm sorry friends I really didn't meant it. I'll try my best with my Creator's help to watch out in the way I talk and pointing fingers....hmmmm...plz pray for me....I cant help myself coz unconciously I'm doing it. Hmmm...nothing impossible with HIM.
Thank you friend for reminding me. Love you all! |

Happy Teacher's Day2 |
It's a bit cold this morning, I thought it's just 8AM but when I get up it was 11AM already. Hhhmm...I got a good sleep. I had a message from my friend in Chengdu, she greeted me Happy Teacher's day. In the afternoon I had a class, I told my students that nobody bothers to send me a message anyways they are busy. But later in the middle of the lesson, two of my students who went out brought flowers and greeted me. Hhmm...it's nice of them. I really appreciate it, I really love flowers. After the class we went out for dinner in Xinjiang Resto..hmmm...fried rice..i like it. Yesterday I went there also for lunch with my very good brother, Ben. Since my lunch yesterday, I just ate bread until dinner time today. On diet??? Not really, I'm lazy to go out and buy food for myself. I never felt hunger anyway, maybe I'm just excited because I'm going home soon...yahooo! After dinner one of my student treat us for fried ice cream, but it was too cold. So I suggested to just have a fruit tea nearby and hang out for a while. We talked a lot of things about HIS kingdom. They are excited and willing to help me here. PTL! This is the work of the HS. Happy Teacher's Day |
One of my best teacher in ASCM visited me here for 4 days. She was with her best friend, Sir Kit. We had a great time together with my students. They taught us a lot of things about HIS Word. They had a big heart for my people. My students experienced and recieved the baptism of the HS. PTL! Now, my students are on fire to serve our Father. Wish they could stay longer in my place. |

Blue Sky Saturday |
Last Sunday, me and my Chinese friends planned to go fishing by Saturday at 7AM. I told my Chinese friends to be there in the fishing area by that time. Well, for the past days I can't sleep well and by Friday, I had terrible headache. Actually it started last Thursday but I took a medication because I need to teach in the evening OT survey (about Noah). So last Friday I had to sleep early so that I could go fishing...hmmm...it didn't happen...I'm kinda lazy to get up...still no enough sleep. At 9AM I had a class (kids) for an hour. You can't imagine teaching kids without enough sleep but PTL the kids are nice and lovely (they're smart kids). So my class that morning went well. I still had a class in the afternoon for an hour at the same school, anyways.
So my Chinese friends( who went fishing) at 11Am came to my place and they brought a half full bag of fish (I think at least a kilo), they caught tilapia (very tiny and middle size fish). Hhmmm....I'm from the central part of the Philippine(Vizayas), we don't eat fish from the lake especially very tiny fish..and tilapia..I must think a hundred times if I'll eat this one. I like tilapia but not this one. Anyways, they're so excited to show what they got, they even caught an eel(it looks like a snake) and frog. So everybody prepared the fish and cleaned it. Our Engineer friend (Bill) prepared the pumpkin pie, he cooked it also. Wow, he was asked to do it, he didn't complain. He is our manager and driver sometimes. He drives very slow 60kmh. And a newly graduate doctor and her gilrfriend prepared dumplings. Everybody was busy preparing for lunch, it was 2PM already that we ate our lunch. I just ate dumplings and the pumpkin pie. I didn't dare to try the tiny fish, it looks delicious though. After that we rest and sleep. At 5PM I had class and my friends planned to play badminton just nearby my school. So they sent me to school first and I just followed them after my class. We played until 7PM. We went back home and finish the leftover...the crunchy tiny fish..hmmm. I still didn't dare to eat it, I just ate the tofu. Two of my Chinese friends shared that it was there birthday yesterday, Jack and William, the same day. They told us they were happy to be with their friends, it's enough for them. I made a joke if they told me I will buy a cake for them. Today, I'm happy. I praised God for He sustains me. I can't understand my feelings for the past few days. It's really hard to be alone. I was inspired by His message this afternoon, I shared it, "When one becomes majority." I preached about the story of Elijah, my favorite bible hero. I really like the part about the showdown in Mt Carmel. I already preached it before, I learned a lot about the story.Every time you read it you could gain new insights from HIM. |
